I have to say that travelling the thousands of miles to speak to like-minded people was always going to be worth the effort. The ICR Conference in Anchorage in September was one of the highlights of my year so far.
I was able to speak on my favourite subject: Interpreting the Language of Illness for Reflex Therapists. It was extremely well-received by the delegates who identified with its ethos and philosophy.
The Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy workshop that followed was also well attended and students found the techniques immediately useful, one describing the sensations as "finding some moments of real peace".
Details for the next conference in 2021 are set to follow soon. Watch this space!
The Australian School of Reflexology and Relaxation based in Melbourne will be my final stop of my tour down under in February 2020.
I will be delivering
How Reflexology helps the Cancer Patient on Wednesday 5 February
How Reflexology Helps the MS Patient on Thursday 6 February
I am really looking forward to returning to this wonderful city and all the great therapists I have worked with in the past.
Get your booking in to Lyn at the ASRR now - don't miss your opportunity to learn these amazing techniques as it may be a while before I come back over!
New Zealand dates have been confirmed including teaching in Cambridge on January 11 and Napier on January 12.
These are being organised with the help of RNZ. Included in this is the date in Christchurch on January 25. All dates will be a one-day Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy workshop. Contact the local RNZ committee member for more details.
If you take a look at the page for postgraduate courses you will see that they have been brought up to date and refined. The techniques have been further clarified and there is much more focus on the practical element. Students will still need to have an advanced level of A&P when doing these courses.
It has been confirmed that I will be speaking at the RIEN conference in Paris on 9and 10 May 2020 and I will be offering a pre-conference Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy workshop on Friday 8 May. More details will follow in the New Year.
I have also been invited to speak at the NRRI Conference in Limerick next September.
I also get the opportunity to revisit the Emerald Isle in November (7/8) to hold a two day seminar in Dublin. More details to follow.
Keep watching this space as very shortly I will be announcing a series of course dates for the postgraduate programme in the UK.
