Following yet another successful season , the Anatomy and Physiology Refresher Course is back once more from April.
Spread over ten weeks, this online event, takes place on Wednesday evenings with each week exploring a different aspect of the human body.
What makes this so special and so different from your normal A&P lecture is that it looks at the emotional and mental components of illness that affect body systems as well as the deeper spiritual significance which provoked the disease into being in the first place.
Each Zoom lecture will last roughly 90 minutes and there will be handouts provided before the link-up for you to prepare your thoughts and questions.
Following on from the lecture there will be a Powerpoint available for students and a recording of the session should you not be able to make all ten. So it's very flexible and there's no exams at the end!
You'll leave after ten weeks viewing the human body in a completely different way and applying your new-found knowledge to help in all sorts of therapeutic situations as a complementary therapist.
As usual with all my courses, places will be limited so sign up today.
When: The course runs from Wednesday 17 April to Wednesday 19 June at 7.30pm UK time
How much: £250 for all ten sessions. Payment details will be sent with the booking form. Email on the 'Book now' form for your application
Confirmation of your place will be sent by email once payment has been received.
I am delighted to have been asked by the International Council of Reflexologists (ICR) to join the board as a Director.
For those who know me, it has been somewhat of a mission to promote this amazing therapy of ours since I qualified in the 1990s.
Using my experience in print and broadcast journalism, alongside all those years in the reflexology business, I am as keen as ever to tell the world about what positive effects reflexology can have on their lives, whether they are a patient, client or practitioner.
Look out for my regular features on the ICR website and social media as well as my own platforms.
Check out the ICR website to see all the benefits you can get from being connected to a global network of therapists.
If you haven't heard about it - there is a Facebook Group, exclusively for reflexologists and other therapists to join in order to receive, hints, tips, advice, skills, experience and wisdom all at the click of a button.
Join up today - all you have to is agree to the Group rules - which basically say that everybody has to be good to each other - no surprises there!
We are a small group with more than 500 members and we all share a passion for what we do.
The group has grown considerably in the last few months. I have posted various essays and features for group members which are later put on to my blog page - Talking Feet, which can be accessed from the postgraduate courses page on this website.
It's important to remember that it is a member's page so contributions are vital to keep it going. So please join up, pass on your wisdom and experience to those new to the profession or even ones who are older in the tooth, like me!

Reflexology for the Multiple Sclerosis Patient - Friday June 28
By its very definition, Multiple Sclerosis covers a whole range of conditions
Like any condition we can learn, as therapists. to work with its patterns
Reflexology can provide support at all stages of the illness.
The condition of Multiple Sclerosis is widely misunderstood, even by the experts. This course will explore in depth many of the presenting signs and symptoms of this degenerative neurological condition and concentrate on realistic forms of treatment.
Many of the myths and misconceptions will be challenged, leaving both the practitioner and the patient with a clearer understanding of what is relevant to MS, and how improvements can be achieved through reflexology.
Research and case studies will demonstrate the consistent effectiveness of reflexology work and powerful but simple to apply techniques will be demonstrated and practised during the day. These techniques have been refined and updated since first being pioneered and introduced by myself in 1998.
This course is organised with the kind cooperation of Laure Gueilhers at Codev.Reflex in Saujons, Western France.
