I am delighted to have been asked by the International Council of Reflexologists (ICR) to become its President.

The rise from board member to the highest role has come as a great honour and , for those who know me, it has been somewhat of a mission to promote this amazing therapy of ours since I qualified in the 1990s.

Using my experience in print and broadcast journalism, alongside all those years in the reflexology business, I am as keen as ever to tell the world about what positive effects reflexology can have on their lives, whether they are a patient, client or practitioner.

Look out for my regular features on the ICR website and social media as well as my own platforms.

If you haven't heard about it - there is a Facebook Group, exclusively for reflexologists and other therapists to join in order to receive, hints, tips, advice, skills, experience and wisdom all at the click of a button.

Join up today - all you have to is agree to the Group rules - which basically say that everybody has to be good to each other - no surprises there!

We are a small group with more than 500 members and we all share a passion for what we do.

The group has grown considerably in the last few months. I have posted various essays and features for group members which are later put on to my blog page - Talking Feet, which can be accessed from the postgraduate courses page on this website.

It's important to remember that it is a member's page so contributions are vital to keep it going. So please join up, pass on your wisdom and experience to those new to the profession or even ones who are older in the tooth, like me!

Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy courses planned for the USA and Canada this September have had to be postponed due to personal family health issues.
